Yulia froze. The Muscovite was used to winning a staredown with people much larger than she was, unafraid, and mostly everyone was always larger than she was. But looking into a mirror face of her own, left her speechless and she looked down at the floor immediately. |
That's gotta be true! Sometimes I think of who would I be scared - ahem, IF I was ever scared, now don't get any ideas, you know I'm fearless ... NOT - and Yulia comes into mind!
I'm all for ^Yulia and ^Lena satisfying their blood-thirst but wouldn't it be better if the channeled their appetite towards the people that got them into prison? And maybe Drake, even?!
The songs were just right though. Very in tune with all the personalities.
Thank you for the update! _________________ Thank you to Maraja for the banner and avatar

lmfao! Volkova's song would be let the bodies hit the floor! Those vampires did that indeed! You go Yuls! You too Lena! And you too missionman! this was better than i expected, totally! It was funny when ^Lena had to demand ^Yulia to come back and free her. That brunette is so badass!
And poor Julia, peeing on herself like that. Hell, we know we probably would have done the same thing if we heard such monstrousities. Those prison jerks had it coming anyway. This fic owns! _________________

What? I'm quite surprised for the updates! I had just about given up hope for a continuation, but I'm stoked dude!
How bad it must have been for Julia to have peed on herself! But the songs were just right for each of the girls, and pretty funny choices!
Thanks and keep going with the story missionman! |

Spasiba on the feedback people
Volkster - Sooo...we now know an interesting intimate trait about you.. short brunettes leave you jittery, aha!
RSL - It was actually a toss up, cause I had a hard time deciding whether ^Yulia should just leave and come back later, cause I totally could have written it that way, but oh yeah, ^Lena would have been so pissed off!!
Doghair69 - See!? I told everybody to hang in there. I just had to get the new banner(s) up and running. Thanks hanging tight tho'
Tatufan dutch - Thanks for not being too impatient, I will try and get that next update soon!

Hello Everybody! Small update for now, enjoy!
Track A..........The train kept a-rollin'
They only needed to round two corners, which placed them out of view of any other prisoners, and Katina had guessed right. The door they stood in front of would lead them to the sub-basement service corridors and plenty of places to hide.
Katina went back and leaned out into the corridor from which they had come, "^Lena/^Yulia! We need you NOW!!" She yelled, and surprisingly saw ^Lena/^Yulia bounding up the corridor towards her. Katina shuddered briefly, taking in the amount of blood smeared across her identicals face and hands.
"We're still not very satisfied.." ^Lena/^Yulia said to her plainly. Katina wondered just how much blood would satisfy them. And then just as quickly decided she didn't really want to know. She also took note that they had spoken more coherently, which was a good sign as far as Katina was concerned.
"Well, I'm sorry, but right now, go get that door opened." Katina replied, pointing to where the rest were standing.
"HEY!! What about the rest of us?" A prisoner in the cell closest to her called out, throwing his hands up in frustration.
Katina weighed briefly between how foolish it would be to let them out, and how much a diversion it could create for her own group.
She turned around and walked to the array of master handles on the wall at the end of the corridor. When she heard the main gates to the entire cell blocks being thrown open, Katina's mind was made up for her. One by one, she cranked the handles as fast as she could. Prisoners began pouring out of cells with looks of joy, anger, and complete vengeance. As the angry mob surged forward towards the main gates and an awaiting garrison of prison guards, Katina ran in a dead heat towards her own exit. Slamming shut the door behind her, Katina knew Volkova was leading everyone else down a pitch black stairwell. To catch up, she instead hopped onto the handrails and slid recklessly down them. Although falling further and further away, Katina could still make out the sounds of gunfire and a major battle erupting from the levels above.
'Good!' She smiled vindictively, but also knew that she hadn't made any plans beyond getting out of their cell. 'Now what?'
************
Three days out from the planet Veras II and Santiago now realized that he hadn't acquired a shipload of grateful survivors, rather more of a daycare center full of children that seemed to believe it was okay to go bananas. It was his own fault, partially, he admitted to himself. He wanted the kids to understand they were safe and have some fun. Unfortunately the ship Katina had paid for didn't offer much in the way of entertainment for kids. That meant only one thing. The ship itself would be the entertainment. Santiago lost count as he again had to duck as some piece of survival gear flew across the cabin. The floor had become a mess as the children rummaged through every compartment in the bulkheads. They were restless, as children often become, but deliriously happy, understanding that they were never going back to the hell they had been put through.
"Stop it! Those are not toys!" Santiago shouted, and wished he'd had the forsight to bring some. The fun stopped suddenly at his raised voice. For a full two seconds. Then a pair of combat boots flew past his head. No amount of military training could ever have prepared him for this. The gleeful sound of childrens laughter filled the ship...
"Aaaigh!!" Santiago ducked agian, "Akeem! Help me out buddy!" he called out to the eldest of the kids, hoping for some sympathy.
Akeem would have gladly liked to have helped him regain some order to the chaos, had he not been in the middle of the very important task of building a fort out compartment doors and a fresh supply of duct tape. "All right men! Prepare to defend the fort!" He commanded to the boys in his fort. An ample supply of seat pillows had been stockpiled inside, ready to be launched at the girls fort across the cabin. "Engage...uh..ENGAGEMENT!! GO GO GO!!" Akeem shouted and the pillows were flung.
The girls shrieked but soon retaliated. With the boys hogging all the pillows initally, the girls had to scrounge for their own ammo. Their mass arsenal of a shipment of heavy combat boots pummeled the boys fort, caving it in easily.
"Whoa!" Akeem was more startled than anything. Combat boots were the weapon of choice apparently.
Santiago was running up the aisle to get to his own haven of the pilot cabin, when he stopped at the boys fort and looked down..
"What in blazes is this!?!" He pointed down at the girl sitting in the midst of the boys half crumpled fort.
"She's our prisoner!" Akeem replied while chunking a pillow across the aisle, "She can't leave unless another girl can touch her on the arm!"
The little girl didn't seem to care either way. She was busily duct-taping foam blocks onto her body to pretend she was a robot. Unfortunately, the costume was ruined because she was also eating flavored toothpaste she had found in the latrines. She beamed up happily at Santiago with a mouthful of foamy white spit..
"Hi!" She giggled as bubbles flew out of her mouth..
"Lord almighty..." Santiago shook his head. He was getting a crash course in parenting...
As the war raged on, Santiago closed the pilot cabin door to muffle the noise. He sat impatiently, wondering when the kids would wear themselves out again. He had learned the phrase 'nap time' better than any military jargon and was counting the minutes until he felt he could reasonably put his foot down and enforce it. Santiago had really little to do as the ship was on autopilot for many days to come, crossing the long void towards Earth.
Sitting in the copilot seat, with an equal amount of nothing to do, a nine year old girl named Anna gazed out the windows. Her body was still recovering slowly from the terror she had been put through at the hands of Tate. As much as Elena was able to do for her, she would still need further treatment back on Earth. For the most part she didn't have the strength to play with the other kids, so she contented herself with star-gazing. Santiago shuddered at how much Anna in particular was mentally scarred as well as the physical. He wondered what terrible thoughts were probably swimming around in her young mind..
"Pretty!!" Anna exclaimed. Santiago was glad to see her smile for the first time and leaned over to look out the windows to where she was pointing. Indeed, it could be said that the seemingly free-flowing wave of light was quite bright, colorful, and yes, pretty. Space was full of unexplained phenomena, and with no proximity alarms going off, Santiago curiously began to magnify the rolling wave of light on his viewscreens. It was so far away that it had appeared to be one flowing mass at first. Then Santiago rolled the magnifier steadily upwards to bring up a clearer picture of it. Anna leaned intently over his arm, watching in delighted anticipation, as finally crisp details could be made out...
Their red-gold scales deliciously rippled with an incandescent rainbow hue, as the supernatural flames engulfed and lit up each of their bodies in a gleaming aura of fire. Santiago stabbed at the computer keyboard to get confirmation of it, but he already knew. To be visible across such distances in space, there had to be millions of them, each as big as the ship they were in.
Tsonn Dragons.
Up until that point, they had been the unseen enemy and the whole reason the war was being lost. Traveling from a homeworld so pitch black that most thought it to be just another 'black hole', and gliding at unnatural speeds faster than light, the vacuum of space neither bothered them or was necessary. It was chance that Anna had spotted them, and just as quickly they simply disappeared
"What were they?" Anna asked, still awed at their beauty.
Santiago could only gasp quietly. He couldn't pinpoint where they came from, but could plot their course, which led straight to Veras II. He wasn't sure why though, there were other places to enter the quadrant just as easily, and Veras had no strategic value as far as he knew. But none of that concerned him at the moment, because although he dared not go back with a ship full of children, Santiago had to get a message to Katina, and hope she had some way of receiving it..

So we have dragons coming along and our favourite vampires/singers/captains/plain people r still trapped! Well, that should go well!

Hi there people! Sometimes its hard to decide when to end a chapter. Maybe its when the eyes can't stare at the monitor any longer for the night! Anyways, enjoy!
Track A............Off the Rails
At his wits end, Tate mobilized his entire compliment of troops against the prisoner revolt. Weapons set to kill, lethal beams of energy cut down prisoners easily, but others surged on to take their place, and so it still wasn't going as quickly as he'd wanted to end the uprising. And he had even bigger concerns than his compound being overrun. If Drake were to find out...Tate wouldn't have to worry about anything any longer. His own death would be swift.
He marched straight through the raucous fighting with his select elite garrison. When they were halfway down one of the empty cellblock corridors, Tate had the lead and came to an abrupt stop.
"Sonofabitch!!" he blurted out, sizing up the wreckage to the last two prison cells. The fronts of both were piles of twisted bars and crumbled stone. He could guess how Katina might have managed such a feat, but had no idea why the prisoners in the left cell had been mutilated, but he would take no more chances,
"Search everywhere and kill them on sight!," he ordered through clenched teeth, "All of them..."
"Yes sir!" The watch commander replied and issued the orders into his mic. To make things easier for them, the backup generators finally kicked in and emergency lighting sprung to life..
*************
It was pitch black as Katina slid down the handrails. The first footsteps she heard as she zipped by were Julia's. Tentative as hell, but making steady progress. It was only three flights down to the bottom level, and so both of them had nearly reached it when the backup lighting kicked in. Katina was looking upwards at that instant, so as her eyes readjusted to the sudden change she was taken aback to see ^Lena/^Yulia perched on all fours..looking down at her from the ceiling. 'Excellent,' Katina thought, knowing that when it was completely dark, only ^Lena/^Yulia would have been able to see, 'Keeping a birdseye view on us to make sure we're al..'
BAM!
Next thing she knew after she bowled over Lena and Elena who had been leaning against the end of the handrail, Katina found herself on the ground, looking up along with her two dazed redheaded identicals at their fourth, now dangling lazily from the ceiling, a wicked fanged smile spreading across her freckled face.
"You could have warned me!" Katina glared up at her. Unholy vampire-hybrid or not, that was just plain rude of ^Lena/^Yulia..
"No. Not really..." came the mischievous reply,
"I'm guessing that was ^Yulia talking just now.." annoyed, Katina peered into the green-blue eyes of the hybrid..
"Actually, that was both of us!" ^Lena/^Yulia answered with a burst of laughter for a moment, as their bloodlust had diminished to nothing, and then the shared pair of ^Lena's eyes grew wide, panic filled them as their symbiosis lost cohesion again, and ^Lena felt ^Yulia's energy form distending from her body, "OH! Aaaaaaa!!"
She guessed wrong as she reformed into her vampiric body and was a few inches out of reach of the ceiling. Unable to cling to air, ^Yulia flailed wildly as she came crashing downwards. Instead of ground, she spun in midair and piledived on top of her own three identicals. Volkova, Yulia and Julia had only enough time to make a simultaneous 'Wha..?!" before being dropped to the cement floor.
The sudden separation from ^Yulia always left ^Lena very weak, so she also couldn't maintain a fix on the ceiling. As soon as they had managed to get up off the floor, Katina, Lena and Elena went right back down as ^Lena dropped on top of them.
The escape plan was going smoothly...
"You know..!" Katina groaned and sighed heavily, ^Lena was still half on top of her turning to meet her face a mere inch away from her own, "It's hard to believe you two are cut from the same cloth as we are!"
"Oh, I agree with you on that one.." ^Yulia replied from on top of her own pile of brunette bodies, staring at Julia who had balled up into a fetal position.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Julia asked, looking back into identical blue eyes..
"C'mon" ^Yulia squenched her nose up, "Even if I weren't a vampire and had better senses than any human, I can still...um..smell that..." She looked down from Julia's face towards her crotch..
Julia quickly sat up against the wall, bunching her legs up to hide her blushing face, silently cursing ^Yulia for bringing up her peeing herself, and wishing somehow Elena hadn't noticed. 'God! What must she think of me..!' Julia was even more mortified about that than anything else..
"Listen," Volkova rolled out from under ^Yulia and kneeled in front of Julia, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder, "It's alright really to be scared, but you gotta learn to keep it together, okay?"
Julia nodded in return as everyone slowly stood up. She avoided looking in Elena's direction, and kept the rest of the Yulias between herself and the Lenas. 'What could she possibly love about me anyways..?'
In some strange way, Volkova and ^Yulia had empowered her to stay in front of everybody as they made their way through the sub-basement level. Also she was less fearful of being ahead of everybody than having to walk next to Elena, who left her feeling jittery as it was, considering how strongly Julia had fallen for that particular redhead.
"It won't be long before they work their way down here, " Katina said as she and ^Lena were walking last in the group, "We have to find a comm terminal at least. Everybody keep an eye out for an omnibay or a L-quad or even a similink will do...."
It might as well have been a request to watch out for a purple-headed people eater, which in this quadrant of the galaxy was entirely possible, and of the entire group, only Volkova could understand Katina's futuristic jargon. The rest raised confused eyebrows and garnered Katina collective 'eeehhh?' expressions...
Still, Julia, being at the front of the group, spotted an alcove to the right side of the corrider and saw several computer terminals inside, some displaying the chaos from cameras on the compound top levels, a few others showing various entertainment channels still operating from deep space relays.
"What about that?" Julia pointed towards the alcove
"Good job Julia!, " Volkova answered as they approached it. Julia smiled a little bit, confidence returning, she led the way and stepped foward into the little room.
From the corridor, they really hadn't noticed the obvious stench of alcohol that they did now. The surroundings were pretty much a mess of papers and greasy maintenance tools, cans of solvents, cleaning supplies and miscellaneous personal effects. Unmistakeably a janitors room.
From just around the tall shelves that were cluttered and obscured half the room from the entrance, a gutteral noise like an outboard motor cut loudly into the air. Everyone stopped when they heard it. Unable to see through shelves, four brunettes peered around the corner to find what could only be described as the stereotypical janitor sprawled back in his chair facing one of the monitors with some benign variety show blasting from it. Only, he was snoring away in an inebriated coma..
"Dammit!" Katina whispered as she strode up beside Volkova, "These terminals are gonna be locked and we don't have time to wait around, one way or the other, this man needs to give us the password.." So far the man was innocent, and Katina didn't want to cause him harm, but...
Volkova nodded to her, ^Yulia bared fangs, Yulia's english failed her at the moment so she glanced from one to the other looking for clues, but all three leaned in unison with Julia, who felt so empowered at that moment, she decided to try and wake the man up...
"Mister.?" Julia poked him in the arm, "Um...hey mister?"
Her continual jabbing at his arm and then his belly finally coaxed a reaction out of him as he stirred suddenly into conciousness. He shot up straight in his chair, and as his bloodshot eyes squinted at the petite figures in his alcoholic daze, he clearly knew what he was staring at..
"GNOMES!!!"
Julia's head spun around so fast it almost popped off, "WHAT?!? WHERE?!?" She screamed at his startled reaction. She could believe anything at this point.
"No! We're not!," Volkova said as she and ^Yulia pushed past Julia to keep the man in his chair. Katina also came up to stand by him and leaned into his face and snapped her fingers to grab his attention..
"Hey! Listen to me!," Katina kept a hard edge to her voice. As a military captain, she knew how to direct orders, but usually not to someone on the verge of passing out again. "We need the password to these terminals, can you just tell us what it is and we'll leave you alone?"
He was in no shape to even begin cooperating, he was already on his way back to unconciousness.
"Fuck!" Katina pounded one fist into the other. ^Lena and ^Yulia however didn't see any problem.
"Look at meee....!" A voice could be heard speaking, but it seemed to come from nowhere, as everyone was looking around, looking at each other, not knowing who had just spoken.
Katina then noticed that both vampiresses were staring intently into the janitor's face. His eyes opened and his head and body jerked up as if he were being pulled on puppet strings. Staring back at ^Lena and ^Yulia he opened his mouth to speak, "Yes?"
"What is the password?' Again the ethereal voice spoke to him and Katina and Volkova by then figured out it was the voice of vampiric suggestion..
Unable to resist, the janitor less than coherently spoke it out loud, but Katina caught it just the same, "PerfectEnemy..", he said in slurred speech..
"Now...sleeeep..". ^Lena imprinted into his mind and the janitor lolled backwards into his chair, snoring loudly once again.
"Nice trick!" Volkova said, a little worried "but can you undo that on her?"
She turned and pointed at Yulia, who unfortunately had been staring straight at the two vampiresses also. Now she was snoozing just as loudly against Lena's shoulder, and Lena was having quite the time holding her up.
"Ohh..pojulsta!" Lena pleaded with the vampiresses as she wrestled with Yulia's limp form, thinking it would take another vampiric suggestion to wake her
She might have been the exact same size as Yulia of course, but ^Yulia was more powerful than any human. So she quite easily took Yulia from Lena's arms and without hesistation throttled her identical several times by the shoulders, no vampire tricks needed.
With a start, Yulia woke up. ^Yulia stepped back while Yulia gathered herself and decided to act non-chalantly, hoping nobody had noticed she was so susceptible to the suggestion to fall asleep..
"So..we to just stand here all day?" Yulia raised an eyebrow, irritated that everyone was staring at her..
"Riiiiight.." Lena bumped her off her shoulder.. |

Oh yeah, I apologize for the lack of banner after the most recent updates. I had to stop posting the animated one because it STILL exceeded banner file size limits. There's no way to reduce it and still be viewable. Hopefully I can come up with a static banner in the near future. Unless there's any offers to make one for me. Until then, bear with me please, thanks! |

Poor Julia! She must feel pretty bad by now! But at least she did get a chance to feel better about the whole situation by helping quite a bit!
As for Yulia she is adorable and you know it! ^Yulia and ^Lena are still the BEST though! _________________ Thank you to Maraja for the banner and avatar

Track F..........The Conductor..
"If you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you" - Friedrich Nietzsche
The Gobi desert, the Sahara, the Patagonia, Rub' al Khali, the Great Sandy, Death Valley, Arctic Siberia. Merged together, they would equal roughly three percent of the vast Kartouhm wastelands that covered nearly the entire southern hemisphere of Veras II. The giant star that blazed relentlessly down upon the planet made the landscape all the more inhospitable, save for the rough center of the landmass. Much like the famous Red Spot' on Jupiter, the Great Eye of Kartouhm was a perpetual swirling storm that had lasted at least the twenty thousand years of recorded Veras history, hanging oppressively over the middle of the desert. Unlike the Red Spot however, it was quite apparent that the Great Eye was of completely unnatural origins.
The Great Eye cast a twilight shadow over much of the desert, but it was of no comfort, the winds blew stifling hot, lightning filled sandstorms rose and fell throughout the lands constantly, so no manner of spacecraft or otherwise ever dared fly into the region. The only way in was a deadly journey on foot. Aside from the desert animals and insects, only those who travelled inland were either already insane or had a death wish.
Or a malevolent purpose...
Drake stood two metres inside the rocky carapace that led out of the underground tunnel networks dotting the Kartouhm landscape. They were long tunnels, but none were connected, and so the treacherous journey between each on the desert floor had taken as much a toll on him as would any living creature. And he was not among the living. The whole ritual process demanded that he not use advanced technology to aid him in his march to the center. So in the spanses topside, he transformed into his dragon body, and the sandstorms pummeled his thick scales relentlessly all the same..
And so he stood, leaning against the sandworn walls near the exit. Drake was breathing raggedly. He felt that even in his dragon form he couldn't take another trip across the desert floor. But he saw his destinty ten kilometres away in the distance, shrouded in the haze of the sandstorms, the brown and grey fortress, polished smooth courtesy of the mile high sand dunes shifting around its base. As if it might help, Drake took a deep breath as he shed his desert robes and packed them away. The transformation was a sight to behold, his mass grew tenfold as he leapt out of the exit, and in mid-air became a Tsonn dragon once again. Just as quickly, the winds brought searing waves of biting sand down upon him. Finding its way between every fold and crevasse in his dragon scales, Drake felt like he was being ripped apart slowly and there was nothing he could do to fight it. But even if there was a time for the storms to die down, Drake refused to wait any longer. His now dragon eyes closed to mere slits, the nictating membranes in each could only help so much, and Drake flew hard and sometimes tread furiously across the dunes, mostly blind towards the fortress. The worst was yet to come.
His nose nearly collided with the fortress wall as he blindly came upon it. Now, as he felt along its perimeter and breathed out fire to clear the markings engraved on it, Drake finally arrived at its entrance. Nearly indistinguishable from the walls to either side of it, the indentation awaited some type of key. Drake gathered himself for a moment before transforming again, he couldn't grasp anything with dragon hands. As he became a vampire again, without a shred of clothing, the windblown sand tore at his skin mercilessly. He wouldn't die, he knew of course, but he knew it might be the next closest thing, to be shredded to the bone and lie in agony forever. Reaching with shaking hands into the pouch that hung from his neck, he withdrew the gold ring holding the ancient stone of Kartouhm in its center. A suddenly strong gust of wind wrenched it from his hands, and Drake was fortunate enough to snatch it back from the air. "NYAAAAAHHH!!!" he screamed in pain as he slammed the ring and stone into the indentation. Precious seconds crawled by as Drake's skin was flaking off his body, in some spots, muscle was already being exposed and he knew that trying to take his robes from the pack would mean probably ending up losing them to winds altogether.
"Open!!! Damn You!!" he clawed at the smooth walls, leaning hard against the winds, willing himself not to be blown away from the entrance..
Within the ancient stone of Kartouhm, a single speck of brilliant light suddenly appeared, growing in size and intensity. In surprise, Drake pulled his hand away from it, foolishly he thought as he half expected the winds to blow the ring away from the wall, but instead he found that the ring stayed affixed to it, as the light emanating from the stone, turned liquid in nature, filling the indentation around it, revealing in its wake, the shape of a twenty rayed star.
The ground began to shake violently beneath Drake's feet, a very deep rumbling accosted his ears and the sound waves he could feel pass through his body. The massive greystoned entrance he leaned against was moving inward. Drake followed, desperately pushing against it as if that might help hurry it along. After ten metres, the 'door' stopped moving to reveal hallways to either side of it. Drake grabbed the stone of Kartouhm out of the indentation and ran for the left hallway. The door once again moved outward once the key had been removed. As it thundered back into place with the walls around it, Drake fell to the ground in total darkness. He had survived the harrowing journey, despite skin and flesh missing from all over his body. He lay facing up, breathing hard, but laughing with his own kind of relief. It had nothing to do with his arduous journey. It had to do with the knowledge that now nothing stood between him and his destiny.

Track A............Crossing
"The Russians escaped while we weren't watching them. Like Russians will..." - Jackson Browne
Ayumi leaned on the wall outside the janitor's alcove. Like everyone else, she had shed her desert robes because the humidity in the sub-basement level was so thick, it felt like they were practically swimming in it. Had the poor janitor been able to stay awake, he would have had quite a pleasant eyefull of scantily clad brunettes and redheads, for they all still wore their outfits from their musical performance days earlier. As she gazed into the alcove, Ayumi's exotically shaped crescent eyes squinted slightly and a bemused smile crept upwards as she noticed that all the Yulias seemed to perspire quite a bit, leaving a healthy sheen of moisture on their tanned skin. To a lesser degree Ayumi couldn't easily tell that any of the Lenas were sweating, although they most certainly had to be from all the running they had just done. It was only that fiery red hair of each had been damped down quite bit to a more subdued brown color, and the flustered cheeks that Ayumi could tell each Lena had just gone through quite a workout, even captain Katina, who was probably in better shape out of all of them.
Katina! Ayumi thought about how lovely she stilled seemed to her. And how she knew there was no chance to be with that particular Lena.
'Or any of the other Lenas, come to think it.' She thought forlornly, and knew even still she would continue to help them...but she still so much wanted, and desired..
"Wait a minute!..' Ayumi recollected the knowledge she had gained about each Lena over time, 'Elena and Julia aren't actually together, they didn't even know each other in fact until recently, they had said..' her smile grew even wider, as realization hit her. She still had a chance..
With her still almost childlike innocence in the ways of love, Ayumi stepped inside and walked up to stand next to Elena, who was engrossed in a hushed conversation with Julia. Ayumi was content not to interrupt, for now. She knew that Julia was fast becoming good friends with Elena, which Ayumi didn't want to believe any more than that. All was fair in love and war.
"...now pull up the service corridors and ventilation shafts.." Katina was instructing Volkova, who sat in front of a decrypted computer terminal.. As they plowed through layers of schematics of Tate's entire compound, the others behind them watched, not even pretending to understand the blueprint layouts, but hoping something good would come of...
"THERE!!" Volkova shouted triumphantly. Katina leaned over her lieutenant's shoulder to be sure of what she saw. Tate's private shipyard. And it was still stocked with a full complement of fifty spacecraft.
"Yes!! Now let's see...there..and then up there..past the machinery buildings.." Katina eagerly traced her fingers along the monitor as she mentally plotted their route to the spacecraft hangers. "Okay..good...let's go!!" Katina directed her order for the rest to follow her out, but heard no one moving.
Snapping their heads up at Katina's voice, everyone seemed nervous about leaving the brief respite of safety the little alcove had been providing. Little shuffles of feet was all that Katina could hear..
"Not again..." Katina smiled in exasperation and looked up at the ceiling feeling slightly disgusted with the 'Civvys' she was in charge of, Volkova shared the sentiment. It was just too plain unbelievable at this point, that any of her identicals could hesitate any longer..
"Look!!.." Katina turned around to face them, Ayumi's hazel brown eyes and six pairs of blue and green-grey eyes slowly turned upwards to meet Katina's tense stare. "We are not safe here or anywhere else in this compound, despite what you are thinking! There will be a garrison of troops on our asses in just a little bit if we don't get out of here now!"
As the small group of Lenas and Yulias walked out, instead of running, it was the last straw Katina could take. She was trying to keep them alive and they couldn't grasp the sense of how little time they had to make an escape. Katina's frustration boiled out of her...
"MOVE YOUR FUCKING ASSES!!!!" She yelled so loud, even the sleeping janitor tousled momentarily in his chair. Volkova had taken the lead at a sprint, once she knew the rest were running right behind her.
'They looked scared. Good." Katina smiled proudly. She could still give a hard order when needed.
Down the service corridors they fled, winding their way between levels of the buildings. Dodging armed search parties for almost a full hour, until they reached another flight of stairs leading back up to the compound yards. Sucking in cooler air on the ground level, even Katina and Volkova had to pause to rest. They had guided everyone into the dark narrow space between two buildings where the restored lighting wouldn't touch. The only part of their route that required them to be outdoors, and the only part that was far from quiet.
"Damn!" Katina muttered to Volkova. In an uncontrollable situation, Katina had invented a distraction to help provide cover for their escape. The prison revolt. On the one hand, it had spun so out of control that most of Tate's men were no longer trying to find her and her group. On the other other hand, the prisoners were causing so much havoc everywhere, the fighting had spilled out into the yards and were now directly in Katina's way.
It was then that one of the guard's noticed the slight silhouetted movement between the buildings. "Hey!! It's them!" He, shouted, and two other guards stopped their fighting with the prisoners and ran with the first towards where Katina was hiding.
"Shit!!" Volkova spat out, "Now what do we do!? We don't have any weapons!" They all knew that there was no chance of fighting hand to hand against armed guards. Even ^Yulia and ^Lena knew that whether separately or together as their hybrid form, they would still get mowed down just as easily.
"Okay...Okay!" Katina made up her mind, "I'll head that way, try to draw them towards me, " she pointed opposite their route, "and you get everyone to the hangers," They both stood up and faced each other momentarily. Their eyes met as even they felt a surge of fear.
"Aye, captain...Lena..." Volkova made a grim salute, one she felt might be her last to her lover, it was going to be Katina's last sacrifice and she knew it.
"Fuck it! Come here.." In what felt like time slowing down to a crawl, Volkova grabbed Katina and mashed her lips against her captain's...It was so deep, so pure and meaningful, that when they broke away from their embrace, Katina didn't even feel for a few seconds the rush of wind that seemed to zip by her right side. When she did start to notice things around her, first she saw the faces of her and Volkova's identicals with mouths gaping open. When she saw the fanged incisors of ^Lena and ^Yulia, she knew that couldn't have been the vampiresses rushing by.
"What!?" Katina exclaimed, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion...
In a dead heat that would have made even the vampiresses proud, Lena and Yulia had zipped right by Katina and Volkova during their intimate moment. Running like they sometimes did from mobs of overzealous fans in the direction Katina had been pointing,
"Lenochka!! Wait for meeee!!" Yulia's smaller legs seemed to blur twice as much as Lena's as she raced behind the redhead. She would never let Lena do it alone. Even though she had already formulated the thought in her head that this was hands down Lena's worst idea ever.
"DAMMIT!! Nooo!!" Katina watched as the Tatu girls fled off across the yards. Three guards followed them, firing streams of energy set to kill, but unsuccessful so far as they had trouble hitting much smaller targets between the throngs of much larger prisoners.
"First they're too scared to move. Now they can't wait to get their heads blown off!! What is it with you people!? Aaah!!" Flabbergasted, Katina shouted to the rest of the Lenas and Yulias..Redheads and brunettes alike shook in disbelief, they were as stunned as Katina was..
"Let's not waste their efforts though!" Volkova grabbed at her captain's arm and pulled her out from between the buildings. Sprinting through the turmoil in the compound yards, they ducked stray weapons fire and slunk behind parked craft and assorted machinery as they finally made it to the administration buildings. At the side, Katina let her guard down as the commotion in the yards had fallen away behind them. It was a mistake though on her part as she fumbled with the keypad lock on the side entrance. A sentry droid rounded the corner to the side of the building..
"Halt! Identify yourselves!" It droned out in mechanical buzziness..Katina had been bunched up with Elena and ^Lena helping her pry apart the keypad, when she turned to see its gun-arm raising and priming to fire. At this range, it would not miss.
^Yulia's confusion at seeing the three redheads so close together, didn't stop her from taking action. All it took was less than a second for her to transform into energy and merge with the redhead nearest the sentry droid. Unfortunately she had guessed wrong, and Katina grew wide-eyed for a second before coughing up a panicked, slurred 'What!??"
"Break its arm off!!" ^Yulia screamed inside Katina's head, "Now!"
With no time to argue, Katina/^Yulia jumped at the droids arm, twisting it upwards as the discharge went off into the night sky. It didn't last long as the circuitry was ripped away along with the arm out of its socket. It had three others, and as Katina/^Yulia fended them off, ^Lena jumped on top of it and ripped away its head. Smoke poured from its body as it came crashing foward to the ground, but Katina was sure their location had been alerted to..
"Have to get inside now," Katina/^Yulia turned to Volkova, as the lieutenant understood and backed everyone away from the door. The lock was easily busted off with her newfound strength, and Katina led everyone inside the administration building. Thanks to ^Yulia's dzyhn symbiosis, Katina was now enjoying herself immensely.
"Thanks..!" Katina thought to ^Yulia..
"Ummm..yeah..I didn't mean to jump into you though. I thought you were ^Lena....AAAAIGH!! This is sooo damn confusing!!"
Katina looked at the vampiress form of herself. ^Lena stared back with just a tinge of hurt in her eyes. She had thought she was the only one ^Yulia could merge with in symbiosis. Now she knew otherwise..
"Great! Now I'm definately on her shitlist..." ^Yulia's thought rang inside Katina's head as she stared outward at ^Lena.
"She says that its.." Katina tried to tell ^Lena, but was cut off sharply by the vampiress..
"Tell her she can try merging with Elena next!! and then the other Yulias too!!" ^Lena turned away from Katina and stormed off behind Volkova leading the way in..
"Uh-oh.." Katina paused for a moment..She knew just as well the anger ^Lena could have, if it was the same as her own...
"Yeah, believe me, I know..this is definately fucked up right here...". ^Yulia sighed back. She actually felt safer staying inside Katina for the time being...

Track F...........Power
'I lost my soul when I fell to earth My planets called me to the void of my birth
The time has come for me to kill this game Now open wide and say my name' - Monster Magnet - Space Lord
For Drake's recuperative powers, he left all vampirics behind. In mere minutes, the missing skin and flesh had reformed and smoothed over as he consumed the remaining blood from the necks of the Kahjinn priests that had come to his aid as he had lay on the floor of the fortress. Once, only the Kahjinn clan had access to the fortress with the ancient stone passed on through generations. How it had come into Drake's hands, there was no way of knowing, and never would be for them, as their lives were extinguished by Drake's powerful fangs. He would not have turned them into vampires even with a choice. Drake was too close to make new friends.
Standing amongst the slain bodies, Drake's eyes followed the torchlights upwards through the levels of the gigantic fortress. It's architecture so simple, but its power unimaginable, he moved foward into it, sensing no life left throughout. He was alone with the power...
At the outset, he knew the design of the entire Great Eye of Kartouhm. When viewed from space, eight equidistant mountains could be seen ringing the Great Eye on its edges, by no means natural designs. They were instead focusing agents of massive proportions for the equally sprawling fortress in the center, beneath the Eye. The volatile perpetual storm was, after all, merely residual energy, waiting to be focused and directed towards purpose by the pinnacle of the fortress lying under the great cloud.
Drake had spread his coven out to each of the mountain ranges, commanding them to prepare each for the task that they were meant for. He knew his own vampiresses would succeed, groomed for this single purpose, their centuries long lives belonged to him, and their deaths, once they accomplished his purposes.
Finally reaching the uppermost echelon of the fortress, Drake stood at an immense dial covering the floor. Right above it, hung the capstone. A gleaming silvery pyramid that hovered a few millimetres above the the topmost fortress stones, so that the winds pierced sharply through the narrow opening, whistling like an eternal scream of pain from all the lives Drake had taken over the eons...
He stepped foward onto the dial, with the staff in hand, the ring affixed on top of it and the stone of Kartouhm blazing with supernatural energy crackling around itself and the ring. The center of the dial was carved as intricately as the rest of it, with symbols and glyphs from hundreds of thousands of worlds. The most inward ring of symbols all had the same meaning in different cultures. One was of Greek origins. The symbol for Chronus, the divine being of time itself, the beginning of creation. Eight other symbols accompanied it on the innermost ring, all meant to reflect the aspects that each focusing mountain in the Kartouhm wastelands would provide.
There was no incantation or other ritual to say or perform now. Still he relished the moment and he called out his fury in a single breath
"Let all of creation never forget this moment!!"
Drake raised the staff and stabbed it into the heart of the dial.
Being blown off the dial by the sheer amount of power coursing from the Kartouhm stone through the staff and onto the dial plateau was a small price to pay for him. Drake spun around off the floor and looked upwards. The pyramid above raised a hundred metres off the top of the fortress and turned blindingly white, rivaling a supernova, and further above, the Great Eye of Kartouhm disappeared for the first time in recorded Veras history. Eight once silent mountain ranges channeled a continuous stream of unknown energy into the pyramid, which absorbed it all and sent it outward into space. The effect was slow to take form, a swirling wash of energy, prismatic in colors, taking a rough spherical shape. It was the stuff that predated even the supernatural. And as it hung above the planet, Drake felt a sense of triumph that he never new before even though all his conquests. Once they bathed in this energy, Drake knew that his legions would be absolutely immortal, timeless, and most importantly, under his reign..forever. He would lead an unstoppable force across the face of the universe, until he ruled it all. Already powerful, but not without weaknesses, Drake had finished his plans, and awaited his brethren...the Tsonn dragons. Once they were imbued, he mused, he wondered if he couldn't just have a little more fun toying with Katina... |

Excellent update missionman8! I don't know what exactly that whole thing was (although you explained it pretty well) with Drake starting something up in space for the dragons, but..well..I'm sure that can't be good for Katina! And his journey through the desert almost killed him! GOOD!!
(of course he survived )
All this jumping into people ^Yulia has to keep doing is making even me confused!! I don't blame her for getting mixed up and jumping into Katina instead of ^Lena!! What a trip!! |

I REALLY don't want Drake to succeed!!He is a ... a .... ehm, I'm sure there is an extremely bad word that can describe him!
Ayumi, well, what can I say! I think she is just infatuated with Katina and her beauty! A bit superficial, but she's young, she'll learn! And isn't it funny how it's always A Volkova that gets in trouble with a Katina?! When is a Lena/Elena/^Lena/Katina gonna make a mistake??!!
Thank you for the update! I enjoyed it immensely! _________________ Thank you to Maraja for the banner and avatar

And now time for me to stop being so lazy and answer that sweet sweet feedback!
tatufandutch - Well kids certainly can make us pull our hairs out, but god bless them and the way they can be so creative like only a childs mind can create and through a childs eyes we can see the world!
RedScouserLena - I didn't realize how so like the real Yulia it would be for her to say such a thing, I dunno, just came to me really And yes everybody, if I could think of a quick fix for Julia's embarrassing predicament I would have written it in by now!! course, things have a way of working out....maybe...hehe
doghair69 - my dear friend I certainly don't want to totally confuse you with all the goings on! But, well...if I made it straightfoward, it just wouldn't be a challenge would it? so sorry... but thanks for reading!
Lonely Tomboy - Those crafty vampiresses! Even when things are out of their control, they still manage to come out on top!! Literally!!
yes, yes...Julia should be okay...I'm not sure of what she's gonna do about that it...not yet anyways.. ideas?
Volkster - Y'know, maybe in real life we don't want evil to succeed, but writing a prominent character like Drake, well....can't really say at this point can I? maybe he will, maybe he won't...hehehe...
dang! you're perception of the whole story is too much!!, now how am I supposed to sneak in a screwup by any of the Lenas!!? I'll go you one better though, the 'pen' is always available to you if you want to take up a chapter or part of one..
Thanks for the feedback everybody, always welcome, and currently thinkin' up some more stuff! |

Hello everybody! Just a short update. Hope you enjoy!
Track B..........Across the Universe of Space and Time
"A broom is drearily sweeping, up the broken peices of yesterdays life. Somewhere a queen is weeping, Somewhere a king has no wife, And the wind cries Mary.” - Jimi Hendrix
Two weeks time and they would finally arrive from his homeworld in deep space. He was too excited to induce a heavy regenerative sleep. Vampiric slumber did wonders when they even lost subconcious awareness of themselves, but instead Drake chose the more pedestrian way of sleeping, the R.E.M.dream-filled sleep he rarely ever chose while laying in his coffins. He would try a few nights of it, just to pass some time, but without a coffin or hyperbaric chamber of any kind within the fortress, he would have to make his own bed for once. As he walked the fortress more thoroughly, Drake gazed upon the walls at the ancient tapestries suspended within gold-quadrenium bas-reliefs. The silken fabrics portrayed an astounding number of species from all over the galaxy, engaged in great battles, heroics journeys, or some important figure that once affected their civilazations, even humans were somewhere amongst the myriad of species of life on display within those pictures, and Drake could recall some of what he saw. For he had been many places in the galaxy over his thousands of years lifespan, causing some of what he saw in the tapestries. Drake smiled at the pleasure he had caused in the grief of so many...and his new ruling order was soon to bring it all to an end. When all was said and done, even great events over such a long time began to blur into the mundane, so Drake forgot some of what he once considered important battles and wars. He cared very little anymore about it all, and callously ripped dozens of the priceless fabrics from their purchases, to make a comfortable mattress to lay upon. Piled up high on the ritual dias, Drake plopped backwards onto the tapestries, his long coal-black hair obscured some of the scenes on the fabric close to his face as he turned to the side, but a lingering image caught his eyes as they shut slowly. It conjured something within him as he drifted off to sleep.
Long before the unity of Romania, Wallachia and Transylvania were their own sovereign nations, opposing sometimes each other and often the nations surrounding them. The Turks, The Ottomans, Hungarians...endless power struggles. In the far ranging Carpathian mountains that cut through the lands, nestled high up in the Wallachian ranges, was castle Dracula. Drake had other homes, other castles, on Earth and elsewhere, but this one had a significance unlike any other. The memory came forth unbidden in his dream...or to Drake, his nightmare. He found himself back in the 16th century of Earth, before his second rise to the throne of Wallachia, here he was imprisoned in his own dungeons for decades, for the brutal killings that earned him the bloodier moniker 'Vlad the Impaler'. Drake tossed about in his slumber as the memory coarsed through his brain, but relaxed just a little as he also recalled his escape. He had found himself at the riverside, early morning chill still hanging in the air, the fog had not yet lifted as he stumbled straight into the water. A powerful being even such as he could be broken. And twenty years of draining rats and insects for sustenance had done it. When Drake felt he could not go on even after escape, face down in the water, he felt a gentle but firm hand pulling him back from the brink.
He looked up into the most beautiful emerald-grey eyes he'd ever seen. She was a young woman, wearing shabby peasants clothing. But her determination, and kind smile was plain for him to see. The firebolt shock of red hair that wisped across her face from the mountain winds, merely added to the sense of strong lifeforce Drake could feel emanating from her.
Mary, she had introduced herself as she helped Drake back up. And from that point the entire memory of her came rushing back into Drake's conciousness, although so very important, she had been lost like so many others within the accumlation of centuries of significant parts of his life. Drake relived that time now in his dream. From her saving him, to their brief and torrid romance, until the eventual end of the affair, when Mary could no longer tolerate his brutal ways of ruling when Drake returned to power.
She fled from the region to Brittania, starting her own legacy as Mary, Queen of Scots. Drake had thought he would change some of his ways, just a little, in order to appease Mary and perhaps reignite a courtship. That was until news reached him that Mary's rule had been a troubled one from the outset, and she had been found guilty of ridiculous contrived implications of crimes...and beheaded.
Drake's heart turned permanently black after that. He no longer wasted time with just one planet. He created havoc across the stars, until he had finally found the one way to bring about a lasting order under his rule. Time washed away much, even the one time he felt love. And his dream caused him to realize he didn't want his rule to be alone. It might have been sick, twisted and disturbing to him, which is why his eyes shot open, again to stare clearly at a figure within' the tapestry his head lay upon. It probably was Mary, considering the rest of the woven scene around her, kneeling in the crimson robe symbolic of a martyr, waiting for the ax of the executioner. She stared outward, defiant to the last...just like she had done only a few days ago aboard his ship the Black Wind..
His mind did a somersault...Mary was on his ship..?
Drake sat up, sweating profusely, it just couldn't be!! But he had to risk it..he had to know...to look into her eyes..
"NO!!!' he shouted out loud, "Impossible!!" holding his head in frustration, he held back for a moment, before relinquishing rational thought and hurrying to get dressed. The journey back would be less harsh, but might prove fruitless, if Tate indeed had followed through and had killed her..
'Katina...' he softly rued ever boarding her ship afterall, for now he once again felt the sorrow in his heart for Mary... |

Now response to the awesme feedback:
tatu_fan_2005: My man that challenge still stands, time is always the issue isn't it. Well, as long as we're both writing and enjoying it, someday m8. Thanks for not throwing kilts at me for the abuse of a historical Scottish lass.
Volkster: Ironic isn't it? A vampire Dracula with a beating heart...and what pray tell were you wondering and then just left off?
Fallen_Angel: Why thanks for the feedback! I would have to say that Drake was evil long before that event, Mary's death would just solidify it.
Doghair69: For love of!! I don't know if I can ever respond to any feedback by you without cracking up just looking at your name! But yes, the wonders of revisionist history, no it didn't happen like that, at least I don't think so, well, Mary was beheaded in real life.
RedScouserLena- So glad you like that song. Jimi has a special place in my heart since like forever. Who could forget his classic 'freakin' in the purple haze with a flyin' hippo' ? Will love mean anything to Drake anymore? hmmmm..
paintedfrog - Thanks for reading this whole thing, I very much appreciate the feedback, thinking up the details is the only tricky part, the story from start to finish has always been ready to go, the ideas for the banners and future ones are the same, ready but difficult to create, even for this one little monster of a pc...

Hiya forumers! Hope all is good with you. Here's a big ol' honkin' huge update. Hope you enjoy!
Track B...........Crazy Train
'We saw the whole world closing their eyes and ears, leaving us alone to thugs and gangsters..' - Paul Rusesabagina
A lightning filled thunderstorm had blown in rather quickly, bringing with it a hard rain that quickly softened up the compound grounds. When she dove over the next burned-out hulk of a patrol hovercar, Lena thought the sudden downpour of rain to be a blessing at helping obscure her and Yulia. It was that, in fact, but also instead of coarse dirt, she landed face first into a ditch of fresh thick muddy water..
"Bleck!!!...." She screamed, spitting out the gritty water and tried not to guess at what else was in the smelly mixture she was staring at. She rolled over and sat up quickly, and with a shaky push off the ground she was nearly standing when Yulia came blindly flying over the same hovercar, knocking Lena straight backwards into the sludge..
"GAAAAA...!!!!" They both shrieked out as even their heads were now caked in the mud. Lena pulled her hair out of her face, even though there was no time for silly arguments, she spared a half-second to give Yulia the evil eye...
As Yulia caught her stare, she noticed something else..
"They to stop shooting at us!" She shouted back at Lena, the rain was drowning out their voices pretty well..
"DA! I can see that!" Lena replied as she brushed past her tatu partner and leaned carefully against the side of the hovercar and peered across through the broken windows to the grounds on the other side. Hope came to mind when Lena saw that the guards who had been chasing them were now being overpowered by escaped prisoners, and just as quickly were being cut down by even more guards. Things were quite a mess.
'Can't waste this opportunity..' She turned to Yulia, 'Which way, do you think?'
Yulia looked in every direction. She had let Lena take the lead, and whether Lena had meant to or not, they were now at the edge of the whole complex. Beyond in the near pitch black desert, unknown danger was most likely awaiting them.
"Eto poot!!" Yulia pointed while grabbing Lena's hand and they ran into the darkness that lay beyond the complex.

Track E........
When he landed at Local Station 38, Santiago leaned back in his pilots seat and exhaled a heavy load of worries. First, they were far enough away from the war zones, that the space stations were still going about life's daily affairs with a sense of normalcy. Secondly, although he didn't want to admit it, Santiago thought that there might be a chance that he was even more relieved to be offloading the children more for his sanity's sake than their safety. Either way, he was ecstatic that Humanitarian Services were already waiting at the station, ready to find new homes for the kids.
"For the longest time, to each other, they were the only family they had, in a very bad situation. So some kind of group home for them is a must." Santiago was saying to the H.S. facilitator. In his arms, he carried the weakest of the children, eight year old Misha, who's cortical implant wounds were so severe, despite Elena's ministrations, that she was immediately being transferred to an ambulatory shuttle.
Santiago felt bad that she would be making the rest of her journey without him, but she wouldn't be alone,
"Akeem, you've got to stay with her. You and Ayumi have been the big brother and sister to all the kids. I'm sorry that it will have to make you wait for them to get you to your new home, but Misha can't fight this one alone."
He stooped down to place a hand on the shoulder of the boy who had once proudly called the old country of Rwanda....home.
"It's okay Mr. Santiago. I'm still used to being her big brother. But can you do something for me?" Akeem reached his arms up and gave Santiago a final hug goodbye.
"Sure kid, anything..:"
Akeem turned his head and harshly whispered in Santiago's ear, "Get that son of a bitch, Tate!.." and years of anger from brutal physical abuse bubbled to the surface as hot tears flowed from young harrowed eyes. The embrace tightened around Santiago's shoulders.
"That's a promise." Santiago stood up and emphasized his words with a fist to fist tap to Akeem's. "Go on now.." he added, and watched Akeem hurry away towards Misha being carried into the shuttle. "I'll visit you someday when you get to your new home!" He shouted with a wave of his hand.
"Bye!" Akeem yelled back over the loud whine of priming engines, and then he and, surprisingly Misha also, both lifted their arms and did their best salute at him. Santiago beamed with pride and choked back his own tears as the boarding ramp closed and the shuttle lifted off.
"Damn! That kid will make a fine officer someday.."
A few hours later, Santiago managed to get a direct deep-space link with Naval Headquarters. While he was waiting for the transmission to be acknowledged, his mind was wandering back towards Katina, and he was rolling a medallion that Ayumi had given to him as a gift, back and forth across the table in front him. One face of the medallion showed the ancient yin-yang symbol, the other held an inticately detailed mosaic of a Tsonn Dragon. Only recent events had revealed their true nature, their horrific power, and Santiago had to wonder why and how Ayumi had come into posession of such a medallion. When he rolled it past the monitor in front of him, it would distort the screen completely. That didn't phase him at first, many energetic and magnetic objects had that effect on video screens. When the medallion stopped rolling and spun to a stop on its side, he lazily reach for it, but before his fingers clasped the edge of it, the medallion leapt through the air and stuck to the center of the screen. Santiago's eyes shot open. When the medallion began to darken the screen and the room lighting started flickering, he knew only neutronium, the center mass of a star could do that. It also weighed as much as an entire planet per cubic centimetre. The medallion weighed but an ounce. There was no way anything could be molded out of neutronium, let alone a minted coin. Before it could further drain anymore power, Santiago flicked it to the floor.
"Impossible!" He gaped down at it, so innocent looking, but intrigueingly powerful, just like..
"Lieutenant Santiago!" a disgruntled and slightly garbled voice and image shouted at him from the monitor
Yanked from his ponderings, Santiago stiffened into at attention posture and saluted, "Admiral Bestin. SIR! Begging the Admiral's pardon sir! I'm told this station is experiencing channel fluctuations." Santiago stumbled his words out, wishing he hadn't been the cause of it..
"Never mind that. At ease."
"Thank you sir," Santiago sat down.
"Let's get to this straight away. I've got excellent news. Seems the enemy forces have completely withdrawn. The fronts are empty, so we're cautiously but optimistically standing down and recalling the fleets to earth." Bestin's puffy cheeks allowed for a hint of a weary smile
"Which fronts, sir?"
"All of them. The quadrants been swept and no sign anywhere."
Santiago felt uneasy as he replied. "I found them sir."
"You did!? Where and how many?"
"Twelve parsecs out of the Veras system. As to how many, well since you've checked everywhere else it would have to be, all of them...."
"One mass front!?" The admiral sat back and ran a nervous hand down his left cheek, his despondent look returned as he asked, "Are you sure lieutenant?"
Santiago slid a holodisc recording into his terminal and replayed what he had seen in deep space for the admiral.
"Since the onboard computer gave me a much larger number than the wartime figures, it seems their entire population from their homeworld have joined their ranks."
"How much more?" Bestin had to hear it
"Twenty-three billion..." Santiago knew even as he said it, that the number pretty much made the Admirals' decision for him, but he pressed onwards anyways, "Admiral, I respectfully request permission to return to the Veras system. Captain Katina had to stay behind but there's still a possibility..."
"Request denied," the reply cut Santiago off sharply, but softened just slightlyat the lieutenants' tempermental stare. Bestin could bust him down to ensign just for looking at him wrong, but knew it wouldn't do any good, so he reasoned with the man instead, "Oh..Santiago. Listen to me. If you sent her a warning like you've mentioned, that's unfortunately all we can do. I can't spare any more officers, that's for damned sure. Because the war apparently isn't over by any means. Katina understands the principals of sacrifice for the greater good. And you know as well as I do what she'd say to you anyways if she were here.."
Santiago nodded affirmation. He knew what Katina would say, but felt hopelessness creeping in, " But what can one more officer do against those kinds of numbers. I can't see how we can win this war now,"
"Frankly lieutenant, at this point, neither can I. But I need every enlisted able-bodied person I have. So get moving. Bestin out."
"Aye Sir! Right away!" Santiago saluted as the screen faded. The admiral had been right about one thing. Katina would have wanted it this way. And so as he picked the strange medallion off the floor, it reminded him of the eight or nine young women he had to leave behind. "You're on your own..." He said holding the medallion up and turned it several times, gazing at the yin-yang, the Tsonn dragon, and back again..

Track A.....
Stealth was near impossible with Julia and Elena. Julia constantly chatted her teeth, and Elena unfortunately was a bona-fide klutz. They could have taken the chance and stormed the administrative offices to take out the handful of Tate's personnell inside, but Katina didn't want to take risks any more than she had to already. Separation was out of the question, even from one room to the next. The saving grace was that they could enter the long darkened corridor from one end with a possible way into the hanger bays without actually entering the adminstrative offices at all. That was of course, if they could maintain stealth.
"Can you...you know..get out of my head now?" Katina said to not quite herself, but ^Yulia buried in her consciousness, and her body.
"Sure..if you think you'll be okay without me now.." ^Yulia replied casually, but Katina could feel the apprehension beyond that. ^Lena was still pretty pissed off..
"Are we gonna be okay? At least enough until we can get out of here?" Katina asked ^Lena, it just wouldn't do to have two vampiresses tearing at each while Katina needed quiet.
"Sure.." ^Lena's face grew soft again, "I know she couldn't tell us apart with all that going on, besides she meant well.."
Like a splash of glitter erupting from Katina's body, ^Yulia emerged and coalesced into her vampiric form beside the captain, catching her before Katina fell to the floor. When she was sure Katina could stand on her own, ^Yulia let her gaze wander over to ^Lena
"Thanks..both of you.."
"Then where's my hug if you mean it?" ^Lena could no longer hide her smile, and ^Yulia's sigh of relief as she rushed into ^Lena's outstretched arms, let her know.. they were okay...
Katina was touched for a moment, as were the rest. Volkova couldn't help but adding a comment at the sight.
"For crying out loud! We're trying to break out of prison and you two of all of us are having a mushy moment!"
"Uh-oh, somebody's not gettin' any.." Julia chattered out, she was as quick as any Yulia with a comment, and just as bad in judgement
"Look who's talking..." Volkova shot back, make Julia blush into silence.
"Enough!" Katina hushed everyone sharply. "First, when we go in to that corridor, I want absolute quiet. Do you get me!?" To a woman, they nodded yes.
"Good now there's a side service chute halfway down the corridor that leads straight to the hangers. That's gonna be our first option to get in. If it works, we won't have to try and go through the offices where Tate's men are. Let's go.."
It went surprisingly well, Katina thought as they moved into the corridor. The rest squatted against the wall in the darkness, while Katina eased her way further along and peered up into the service chute. It was just as dark inside the hangers as she looked down the chute, but the crawlspace looked very narrow to her.
"Shit!," she thought twice about it, but the plan had been made, so Katina jumped up and stuck her arms out to the sides of the opening, with impressive strength of her own, pulled her body into the opening by tucking her legs under her chest and leaned into the chute.
First mistake.
There was zero room to begin stretching out. Katina had just succeeded in wedging herself into the chute like a very stubborn cork in a bottle.
"Shit! Shit! SHIT!" She hissed quietly, she found she couldn't back out either, it hurt too much and her legs would probably break from trying.
"^Lena! ^Yulia!." She called hoping loud enough that the vampiresses would hear her, but not loud enough that she would be heard through the small ventilation duct to her side that lead undoubtedly straight to the offices.
When they did come up behind her, Katina was glad she would be able to salvage the situation. "Okay, unfortunately I'm stuck pretty well, but if you two can merge just once more, you should be able to bend this chute out just enough for me to flatten out. That's all I need, so try to keep it quiet," she whispered the instructions to them. Katina thought it would be simple considering her human body had managed to meld with ^Yulia's vampiric body just fine. But when the two vampiresses merged once again, things did not go as well anymore, and so all Katina could hear from the hybrid ^Lena/^Yulia was..
"ME PUSH!"
"What!?" Katina was more surprised at hearing them speak too loudly then what they actually had said, until she felt the push.."OW!!" She tried not to scream out loud at the force being applied to her rear end.
Her legs hurt more than she could ever remember and she cried out again as the pushing didn't let up, "Stop!! Please! I don't need you to be pushing me!"
She was sure she was on the verge of being overheard, and prayed she could remain quiet enough while trying to get ^Lena/^Yulia to stop,
That was until the hybrid thought it best to try and force Katina's legs in even further. Katina heard a pop somewhere below her chest, pain shot through her body and she involuntarily let it out, "DAMMIT WILL YOU STOP FUCKING PUSHING ME!?!?"
Second mistake.
And Katina through painful tears clamped her mouth shut. Through the side ventilation duct, she thought she heard the sound of chairs moving. She couldn't take the chance that she hadn't.
"OKAY..." ^Lena/^Yulia finally complied.
"Well, I've fucked this up enough already!" Katina said, trying to turn enough to talk back to the hybrid. "Listen, you two are gonna have to go into that office now and take out everyone in there, we don't have a choice. They're probably on the way out now anyways.."
"Okay.."
"Now..," Katina felt like she was speaking to a child. A very dumb but insanely powerful child, "When they come out, I want you two..
"RAAAAAAA!!!!!!" The hybrid screamed out and ran down towards the office before Katina could even finish speaking. As was their preferred choice of entry, instead of the office door, they ran straight through the concrete wall in less than a second, sending chunks of concrete flying into the offices. So much heavy pounding and shaking was coming from the walls, that Katina feared the building itself was coming down. From Tate's personnel, all that could be heard were a few muffled cries for about a half minute. Then silence. Then more metal and concrete being torn apart, and Katina could feel the vibrations of it getting more intense. When the ventilation duct flew away from her side, along with the side of the chute, Katina felt bewildered anyways, seeing herself causing all of the destruction. She rolled her body out into what was left of the office, but her leg was in so much pain that she just lay on the floor, and as a bright flash indicated their separation, saw that ^Yulia and ^Lena were also laying near her, panting heavily, and writhing in their own pain.
"This..this isn't going to work anymore.." ^Lena raggedly spoke out as the rest of the group stepped into the office through the gaping hole in the wall.
"We just can't keep our concentration together to keep that form anymore. I don't know why.." ^Yulia turned towards Katina, "Does this mean Drake was wrong about the potion? It really isn't a permanent effect?"
"I don't know, we'll figure it out later. Just lay off the transforming thing. We'll make do as we are for now.." Katina answered back. It was all getting so complicated even for her.
When she surveyed their latest destructive handiwork. Katina saw not a single one of Tate's men had set off any more alarms, or were able to run more than a few metres before being hunted down. She led her group past and through the rest of the office and into the hanger bays from another sizable chunk of missing wall. When she hit the hanger lighting switches, her breath was taken away, and she heard the same gasp of delighted surprise from Volkova. The small fleet was impressive, Katina ascertained it mostly had to be Drake's doing, and as ^Lena supported her with one arm draped over the vampiresses shoulder, Katina limped along between ships, surveying the choices. She thought she found the perfect vehicle for them, until Volkova put up a hand.
"Wrong!" She smiled at her captain. " That one!" The feisty brunette pointed to a craft Katina didn't recognize, despite her formidable knowledge of ships from everywhere in the quadrant.
"What is it?" she asked as she took in the exotic lines and obviously custom design of the sleek craft..
"Its one of a kind. I saw it in a traders registry for private vehicles that cost ridiculous amounts of money. Some have all sorts of illegal retrofits. Including this one. I dreamed of owning something like it. Should have figured that bastard would own it."
"Not anymore." Katina broke rank and smiled her most wicked smile she could conjur up. Volkova felt like she had made a new recruit out of her.
Wasting no time, they boarded the unnamed craft, and Volkova felt like she knew the controls already from studying its schematics, and Katina quickly brought herself up to speed. The first illegal thing they found was that it could pump out frequencies that could open just about any locking mechanism. Including the coded hanger doors. It would be quieter, although Katina didn't think it would be that quiet flying a ship out of the hangers.
"Damn! We can't leave orbit though!" Volkova said, " These ships haven't been fueled yet, just have the repulsors for sub-orbital.."
"Just go! We can fuel up somewhere when we get away from this place." Katina ordered, feeling more comfortable to be back in her element. The pain in her leg was fading fast.
"Won't they follow us?" ^Yulia chimed in from the passenger seats, "I mean in all these other ships?"
"That's where this thing comes in handy," Volkova replied with an evil grin that made her almost look like her vampiric counterpart. As their ship whooshed out of the hanger it dropped something heavy out the back of its tail section. The rest were squinting out the windows, waiting for some type of huge explosion to rock the hanger and possibly the ship they were in. Only Katina and Volkova knew better of course. It was no bomb. Instead the small but very heavy object silently sat on the hanger floor. Its range preset to only the hanger itself, it began emanating a predetermined frequency, specifically to resonate with that of the circuitry inside each and every ship in the hanger. When the amplitude increased also unacceptable ranges, every circuit in every ship shattered into dust. Drake, or Tate...Katina didn't care which, was now the proud owner of a fleet of pretty, but entirely useless spaceships. When the indicator light turned green on their console, Katina and Volkova laughed out loud. Mission accomplished.
********************
Track B........
They hadn't run that far from the compound when they came upon a circular building standing alone over the first high sand slope. After watching it for a few minutes, Lena and Yulia decided that it was apparently empty. They needed to get out of the heavy rain also, and so they cautiously inched their way inside. It was only one large room actually, some type of machine room, they could tell, but not tell what for. Even though moderate battery powered lighting was on, Lena still didn't notice the scorched, blackened cyclinder of Sensai's body until she fell backwards over it.
"When did you take off your underwear?" Yulia asked naturally as her eyes gravitated towards Lena's upturned crotch..
"Yeah! I'm okay thanks!" Lena shot back, "And by the way, when Julia needed a change of her own, I gave them to her when we were waiting in that alcove. Something you should have done since you and her are the same size..!"
Yulia shivered a little as she pondered that, soaked from the rain, and now the building had no doors to block out the winds, the dim lighting, and seeing Sensai's lifeless body. She felt so ashamed for not even thinking about helping out Julia,
"Prostite..". She sadly said and walked over to sit by Lena. They ran their hands over Sensai's metallic body, knowing what Katina had mentioned that he probably had sacrificed himself to give them a chance to escape. It had worked to a point, and Lena decided that they needed to keep going.
"We'll rest for a little while, then hopefully the rain will let up.."
Yulia nodded towards her and leaned over Sensai's body. If they had known that Tate personally had led a search party out to track them, Lena might have left much sooner. The sounds of engines whining close to the building let Lena know that it was indeed time to go. She grabbed Yulia by the arm and ran out the only opening. Too late the lights of the patrol craft shined directly in front of them. Running would be useless. Lena and Yulia felt defeated and held onto each other tightly.
Tate stepped out first from the partrol craft, four of his men followed. With guns drawn, even Tate didn't say anything. He merely cocked his head as he took aim. The rain drowned out the tatu girls screams. But the rain was nowhere near loud enough to mask the sounds of repulsor engines coming from a much larger craft swooping down over the dunes.
In unison, Tate and his men spun around. Surprised to see that it was one of his own, his panic subsided.
"Who's in that? Jeffries?" Tate shouted to his squad commander. The man merely shrugged..
The interior lighting flicked on, and Tate lost the ability to speak, his jaw dropped as he saw Katina and Volkova in the pilots seats. His gunfire couldn't be quick enough as they pummeled the new craft with laserfire.
"Yeah, all sorts of illegal hardware..." Katina echoed Volkova's words back to her. Her smile was gone this time though. She stared first back at him, catching his eye, knowing that the ships shielding wouldn't let hand weapons get through. Then she made sure that Lena and Yulia saw her wave her finger down slightly. They dropped to the ground instantly.
Tate caught it also. He thought he had guessed right, and dropped also to the ground, thinking he could dodge whatever Katina was about to shoot out. That was all she needed from him and his men.
With years of piloting skill at her disposal, Katina swung the ship onto its side in the air, the extended port wing touched the ground and in less than a second began sliding towards Tate.
His last vision was that of the wing literally digging into the concrete perimeter before the wing scraped his body to a bloody gruesome death along the ground. Katina just as quickly swung the craft around and mowed down the remaing four men with deadly plasmafire. Volkova took over the controls when Katina began to shake with uncontrollable tears, some from relief, some from anger and sorrow. Violence was becoming all too common for her..

Track A.....
"He's in there!" Lena waved to Ayumi as Katina and Volkova also descended the boarding ramp. Ayumi ran inside towards her companion. She didn't seem as sad or shocked as every thought she might be.
"Maybe its just her way," Katina leaned in towards Lena, noticing the same thing. "Let's get going.."
^Yulia had no problem carrying the little robot into the ship. As it lifted off, she had to ask, "Is everything going to be okay now?"
" Not just yet," Katina replied over her shoulder, " We have to get fuel for spaceflight, and unfortunately, we'll have to refine it for ourselves. All planetside stations are toast. This means we'll have to stay undetected in the northern hemisphere for oh, about two weeks..."
^Yulia nodded and leaned back into her seat. 'Two weeks', she sighed. "Okay, I can handle that. So long as no more awful surprises.." |

The part where Lena lands face first into the mud and then Yulia lands on top of her! LOL! There seems to be a lot of falling on top of each other lately, what's the hidden message MM? So the Drakester is heading back now? Isn't he in the middle of something, talk about obsession with a redheaded gal!
Lovin' it, next update please |

I thought the part with them landing in the muddy water was hilarious!
Its great to know the kids are finding homes,
and Drake doesn't deserve Katina or this Mary,
if they are the same person.
Finally Tate got what was coming to him!
nice update mate !

And now for some feedback answers.. Thanks for reading!
PaintedFrog - Can Drake be defeated? Certainly! But will he be? Maybe I just like his moxy too much to let that happen!
Doghair69 - I guess I am using the landing ontop of each gag way too liberally, but its a classic pratfall, and I do love it so!! I"ll just mete it out a little more evenly.. Yes Drake is in the middle of the ritual, however, there is a waiting period that he can't do anything about, so he might as well check up on Katina..
Lonely Tomboy - I'm glad the muddy water played such a huge role! And no, Drake may not deserve either one, but he's definately gonna give it a shot!
Volkster - If I could have thought up more action, I would have crammed it in there V.!! Yeah, Tate was getting on everyones nerves anyways.. |

Hi Everyone!! Hope the wait wasn't too unbearable! I have just this quick update. Hope you enjoy!
Track F..........The Dark Rails
"Today I saw somebody who looked just like you, she walked like you do, I thought it was you.." the Stylistics - You are Everything
With great ease, Drake flew back across the Kartouhm wastelands. He even amazed himself with how quickly he could make the journey when properly motivated. When he came across the last of the dunes between himself and the compound, he didn't slow down as still smouldering craft and buildings caught his attention. Prisoners were running about, some trying to repair what patrol craft were still intact, and escape across the desert to the cities. Most didn't even acknowledge Drakes presence, or took only a quick glance at a dragon transforming back into a vampire.
When he finaally found Tate's remains smeared along the base of the generator entryway, Drake walked barefoot through the grisly mess. 'The fool' He shook his head and smirked. He was angry that he had been robbed of the small pleasure of killing Tate himself for botching so many plans, but he knew without a doubt that Katina had done it. And that made him smile. From accounts by the sole surviving prison guard who had witnessed Tate's demise, Drake thought about how perfect a killer Katina was becoming, and that she was turning herself into doing so without even realizing it. The propect excited him to no end. Whether she reminded him of Mary, or was the reincarnation of Mary, Drake had found a new queen. One he had been carefully moulding, darkly and sensually shaping, like a rare flower, cultivating her into a black velvety rose, all along. Each brutal hardship had been of his own design, subtly prodding Katina along a path she was unaware of. He felt so close now to bringing about his new lover with a heart as evil as his own. Taking in the entire destruction to the compound, he wondered how far along she was already to becoming that, considering...
Track A..........
Slap!!
The sting of being struck across her cheek didn't register with Volkova right away. She was too stunned to do anything but gape back at Katina's stern glare.
"I said level off to twenty metres! Do you want us to be detected!?!" Katina was yelling at her with her own cheeks turning an angry blustery red..
Quietly, Volkova braved a reply "By whom? There's no one left..." , holding her hand to her cheek. She was becoming angry herself that the pain caused her eyes to water..
"Doesn't matter, we still follow tactical procedures while I'm still captain!" Katina shot back. She sat back down in her own piloting station, her eyes darting left and right in paranoid frustration, waiting for phantom enemies to come swooping down on her ship.
"Fine. But why did you have to do that!?" Volkova pressed on, she wasn't physically afraid of Katina, and she voiced her question with an obvious angry demand for a reply..
As the ship dropped lower to the ground, ^Yulia and ^Lena leaned foward from their own passenger seats to stare at the exchange between a seething captain and her equally tense lieutenant. To the vampiresses, this was getting juicy...
"Ooo! Who throws the next one?"^Lena whispered quietly to ^Yulia, both of them had fingers steepled over their lips, pondering what was to them nothing more than a silly human grudge match..
"Well, I think lieutenant Volkova still owes captain Katina a good one, so I'll take her..but then again.." ^Yulia whispered back, her fangs poked out as she smiled slightly, she didn't try to hide the fact that she was quietly rooting for Volkova, ^Lena caught it instantly and nudged her hard in the shoulder
"You bitch!" ^Lena laughed "It just figures you'd stick with your own.."
^Yulia gave her a full fanged smile back but before she could reply, Elena pushed between their shoulders,
"Are you two kidding me!?" She had that admonishing expression that only a Lena could do so well, "How can you be laughing at this, their at each other's throats right now!" She pointed to the front of the ship as she looked from one vampiress to the other, and felt a little queasy when she faced ^Lena, feeling like she was chastising herself, it shook her resolve and she forgot what else she wanted to say. Julia peeked over from beside Elena's hip, she wasn't too happy about their casual behavior either but had nothing to add.
"Oh, don't worry about them.." ^Yulia answered back, she pushed Elena back annoyed that she was being smothered by even more of the same red hair. One was enough, she thought, "We wouldn't let it get out of hand, seriously though, they're just letting off steam that they need to. In fact, everybody does, come to think of it.."
"It'll be okay, really they just..ulp!!" ^Lena turned back to say to Elena. That was when the shipped lurched foward suddenly for a few seconds. All heads in the passenger seats turned foward, it was apparent as the two officers continued their argueing, that their hands were being a little careless with the ship controls, and whether they wanted it or not, Katina and Volkova now had the undivided attention of the rest..
By the second unplanned rocking of the ship, ^Yulia and ^Lena jumped up and stepped in between the captain and her lieutenant..
"Okay!! That's enough for now don't you think!?" ^Lena gave her best little pleading voice, which was a mistake because it made Katina cringe in disgust. But she didn't buy it. She was sure the captain did it every now and then...
"C'mon we're all getting just a little nervous back there.." ^Yulia looked down into Volkova's angry ice blue eyes, defiantly staring up at her. If there was one sure thing to catch her off guard, it was her own face. ^Yulia pressed on, "Look, yeah, everyone has a good point, but we can't focus on that while trying to fly a ship can we?"
"It's not like you two are flying it.." Katina muttered staring out the front viewport, "but, oh wow!.." she placed a hand to her forhead and laughed, "It is kind of like you two are flying this thing isn't it..I mean you're us and we're you!..kinda!.." Katina laughed again and the tension began washing away. Volkova smirked a little at what she was saying, her shoulders slumped downwards, it was a truce for the time being..
When they simply stopped speaking to each other, and the ship resumed a smooth ride towards their destination, the passengers relaxed back also. Lena and Yulia were still busy rubbing off as much caked dirt and grime they could off their bodies, and Julia was glad in some way that she was now not the only one who stank to high heaven..
In fact, the tATu girls smelled even worse. Even with the pristine ventilation system aboard the sleek ship, Elena was the first to squench up her nose as she looked over at her grimy identical. ^Lena followed suit and finally ^Yulia and Julia did their best 'what the hell is that smell?' expression towards Lena and Yulia.
This was the kind of attention Yulia hated. 'Why the hell is everyone staring at us!?' Yulia snarled as she bolted upright in her seat, the tATu girl again snarled "just stop staring! I hate people staring at me!" and in her own Yuliaesque defiance, she slammed yet another balled up fistful of grime and dirt on the floor.
"SHTO!?!?"
"What she means is, " Lena explained for her non-russian speaking friends, which was everyone but Yulia, "mind your own business!" She pouted before resuming her gritty work. The caked mud was just everywhere. And her usual good sense of cleanliness and proper hygiene, caused her to shriek in disgust every now and then. When she couldn't seem to get any more off her own body, she grabbed Yulia's arm and began trying to clean her partner. Yulia began to protest as Lena kept trying to grab her arm or leg, which only succeeded in Yulia trying to slap Lena's hands away. It was a minor scuffle in the making, and yet more entertainment for the rest.
^Yulia edged over to whisper in ^Lena's ear, "I guess symbiosis wasn't gonna work out for any of us was it?" ^Lena was about to reply when she caught Julia leaning foward between them
"What?" Julia asked, bored out of her skull and smiled sheepishly, trying to nose in on what ^Yulia was whispering,
"Oh fuck! Nevermind. I think it'd work great for her and Elena, if this one can ever figure it out..." ^Lena replied leaning past Julia's face to answer ^Yulia.
"Figure what out?" Julia asked
"Nothing. Nevermind" This time ^Lena pushed the head back that had wedged between her and ^Yulia's. There were some things she knew she had to let others discover on their own.
It took half the remaining night, but they had traveled far enough into the northern territories that Katina felt they could put down in some agricultural regions she spotted by some huge reservoirs on the horizon. Volkova nodded sleepily at her direction, and steered the ship towards the edge of one of the reservoirs. She noted on her displays that fuel centers were within easy reach, but they had to scout in on the ground, just to be safe. When Volkova planted the ship on the ground, powered off the repulsors and Katina finished her shutdown checklist, they heard everyone else noisily snoozing away. Even the vampiresses snored a little. Katina wearily smiled at that curiosity, and when she caught Volkova's equally tired smile, she knew she was thinking about the same thing. It was enough of a smile, for the moment, as they both simply leaned their seats back into reclining positions, that they could sleep easy for awhile. Katina let her head drift to the side and gaze downward between them, she felt bad for the arguement, stupid for starting it. She softly reached for Volkova's limp hand dangling over the armrest. Her eyes fluttered closed from exhaustion at that point. In fact, she was so tired that when her eyes had closed she had missed Volkova's hand start to reach back.... |

it doesnt seem so smart for all of them to be sleeping at once, like two should be awake incase, just to wake up the others. it's fuuny to see the older two watching the younger ones, with all there knowledge, knowing eveything will work out. but i still dont know about drake, they have to find a way to stop him.
great update |

A very entertaining update ... and also sad!! How can Drake take credit for what Katina is becoming???? Should I be losing hope???? ^Yulia's comment about "symbiosis" made me crack a smile ... or two!
Thank you for the update!! _________________ Thank you to Maraja for the banner and avatar

Giggidy!! My friend you make it so easy to hate the Drakester even more! Haha, he was robbed of satisfaction by Katina, but then he's also making her his lover??? What!??? Say it ain't so missionman!!
At least they have gotten far away from him now though. Let them just find some gas and get the heck out of there!
Thanks for the update, hadn't been able to reply because I've been really busy |
