I didn't know where to post this, but here's a good review by popjustice of the"leaked" album
Quote: |
tATu album: officially 'quite good really'
The entire new tATu album has now leaked online, which sort of blows our proposed 'world exclusive track by track' out of the window. Thank you, The Internet.
For what it's worth, the tracklisting looks rather a lot like this...
» Dangerous & Moving (Intro)
» All About Us
» Obezyanka Nol
» Loves Me Not
» Friend Or Foe
» Gomensai
» Cosmos (Outer Space)
» Craving (I Only Want What I Can't Have)
» Sacrifice
» We Shout
» Perfect Enemy
» Dangerous & Moving
...and the best songs are 'Friend Or Foe', 'Loves Me Not' and 'Dangerous & Moving'. It's basically everything the first album should have been - ie it contains more than two brilliant songs. Amazing.
The girls' first Russian release from the album is 'Lyudi Invalidy' - Tatu.ru have got a clip here (right-click). Nobody gets their head blown off, but there is some manlove involved so in a sense (That's enough of that - Ed) |

Either they didn’t bother listening to the first album or their judgement is dreadful. _________________ I've got "Property of Yulia Volkova" tatued on my heart. |

Well bad songs from 200km:
Malchik gay and How Soon is Now?
then two songs are actually russian versions of the english songs (not even the original russian versions) which sound the same to a non russian speaker who cant understand the lyrics.
so that leaves us with
1.) Not gonna get us
2.) All the things she said
3.) clowns
4.)Stars
5.) Show me love
Five good songs does not make an album... _________________

I didn't really see the whole "more than two good songs" thing as really a bad thing (even though I 200 Km/h was an excellent album, imo) considering they A. Called at least two songs good, compared to some who just bash the whole thing in general and B. They gave a positive outlook on the new album, which is what has to better than the first in a way if Tatu wants to come out on top again.
But anyhoo, thanks for the review. It's making the new album's propects look bright. _________________ "Love is a person, not a gender.

Nice review. Thanks for posting.
Actually, the only song I didn' like from their first (English) album was Malchik Gay. _________________ The moon was rising and she was waiting. Death was so near!! But she wasn't afraid. She had lived too long, loved too much and killed too many... |

Same.. the lyrics seem deeper on 200km than D&M
And they said
Quote: |
it contains more than two brilliant songs. |
which dosent mean they thought the other songs were rubbish... just not brilliant like nggu and attss.. as to me those songs are amazingly fantabulously great! ..along with their russian equivilants and Ne Ver Ne Boisa .. which reminds me i thought someone said we were going to get an english version of that _________________ ARGH!! i can get a siggy to work on every site but here *kicks it* :\

Well...I really like 200 KM in the Wrong Lane and this album is well... Of course it should be better because they are learning and growing as artist and people. They want it to be better. The new album is awesome btw and I am still gonna buy both, Russian and English!!! _________________

Watercooler moment:
Win a tATu 'hoodie' or some other shit Polydor had knocking around
In the first of an ill-fated series, the Popjustice watercooler gives you the opportunity to win a tATu hooded top or some Abba headbands and badges.
Comments the watercooler:
"tATu, eh? Everyone's talking about them! 'Lezzer' this, 'comeback single' that. The world is simply a-buzz with talk of tATu - or Julia and Lena to their pals! No wonder it has fallen to me, the Popjustice watercooler, to present this amazing competition!
Yes, you can win a tATu hoodie which is slightly too large to fit anybody at PJHQ. To win: just sent me a picture you have drawn of tATu.
Email pictures: watercooler@popjustice.co.uk.
Closing date: Tuesday October 4.
Runners up will receive a set of Abba headbands and badges, as pictured here on my head and in my pocket. The one I've had on my head will probably be a bit stretched, but what do you expect - I'm a fucking watercooler!
Bye!"
Oh dear.
